Today, the Movie Insider website published a list of 101 Netflix original movie projects currently in development. However, Netflix has much more in the works, including TV series and online games. That accounts for roughly 40% of the total projects in development at Netflix, just to give you an idea of how much more is to come.

While details about Musty Dungeon Studios‘ (MDS) involvement with Netflix have been hush-hush lately, Chairman Brian Walton said his company would likely be the prime on most of the projects announced today. “We are still in negotiations, but have met major milestones, and both sides are confident that a deal will be made shortly,” says Walton.

The three-year deal in the works with Netflix would have the powerhouse Musty Dungeon Studios provide audio production services for a large share of the movies announced today, as well as the 40% yet to come. The deal came about after Walton developed the Zombie Love soundtrack for the upcoming online game, series, and movie pilot.

Brian Walton rose quickly in Hollywood after a two-year stint at Disney, where he contributed to projects like The Mandalorian, Elemental, and Mufasa, and earned membership in the Motion Picture Association. After leaving Disney, he founded Musty Dungeon Studios and collaborated with renowned composer Hans Zimmer before joining Netflix.

Walton, a multi-award-winning composer and producer, is well established in the industry. In the 1980s and 90s, he worked on films such as Arthur (1981), Schindler’s List, and The Ninth Gate. According to ASCAP, he is among the most recorded composers, with more than 450 published works recorded by artists including Diana Ross, 38 Special, and Anne Murray, placing him on par with his contemporaries in Hollywood.
