Brian Walton‘s music production company Musty Dungeon Studios has been a force in Hollywood since 2010 where it has been involved in such block-buster productions as “The Mandalorian”, “Wish”, and “Mufasa” Today they announced that Brian Walton‘s second gold single “Black Widow” will be featured in action scenes for the upcoming dystopian action thriller “Karoshi” directed by Takashi Doscher and starring Cynthia Erivo and Teo Yoo.

Juilliard-trained Brian Walton, who apprenticed under the legendary Phil Ramone in the ’80s, has composed for icons like Diana Ross, Wynonna Judd, and 38 Special. He broke into Hollywood in the ’90s as a soundtrack composer and engineer, and he’s been thriving there ever since. Many of his singles over the years have gone on to become the foundation for movie and TV soundtracks, and vice versa.

“Karoshi” marks the 69th time “Black Widow” has appeared in a major Hollywood production, making it one of his most prolific and popular tracks. Its success is boosted by its strong performance on European and Asian charts, where it consistently ranks in the top 100.

Brian released “Black Widow” in the US in 2015, and it steadily climbed the charts, gaining a major boost in 2020 when, as Disney’s Associate Music Director, he featured the track in the TV series “Andor” and “The Mandalorian.”

Both Brian Walton and “Black Widow” have a rich history worth exploring, as this is just the start of a multiyear contract that Musty Dungeon Studios has secured with the mega movie production company and its associates.
